WLUK Fox 11 taken off Time Warner Cable

That is around the Green Bay Area. I also heard that Fox isn't working in Oshkosh or Appleton either. So if you live around there and have Time Warner Cable you won't be able to watch the Packer game tomorrow and maybe the rest of the year because WLUK wants money or something.

I have no idea what the real story is but I've learned many times never to believe anything Time Warner says about anything.

Fox in Wausau is doing the same thing. They want more money from the Dish and DTV.

First home game I didn't go to this year, and I had to watch the game with a make shift ant. I haven't watched tv like this in over 10 years....crazy.

I think they are going to loose a lot of customers. I am looking at the dish right now.

Alot of people are pretty irate up in this area about this. Obviously I think both parties are to blame. Time Warner is losing alot of customers, I heard they are now offering a rebate of $20+ a month to people not getting WLUK and are offering it until the channel is back. Green Bay area bars are probably happy as it will probably drive some people out to their place for football games and soon to be MLB playoff games. But hopefully a resolution occurs sooner than later.

Fox is back up here in GB. TW and WLUK must have reached some sort of agreement.

I guess the story is that the station wants Time Warner to pay them for the privilege to broadcast their station. Time Warner is saying no, the money you make is dictated by ratings and thus how you sell yourselves to advertisers. Time Warner even started handing out "rabbit ears" to its Time Warner customers so that they could still pick up the station and watch the Packer game (if the rabbit ears could even pick up that signal).
