Woodson -- Defensive Player of the Month
I didn't see post about this. Woodson deserves it. He's playing at a level I haven't seen a CB play at in years. It is amazing how good the guy has been in GB. And to think, most teams didn't want him and some that did wanted him to play safety.

Champ Bailey in '06.

Yup, he's been incredible.

He's gotta be one of the few early favs for defensive player of the year. He'll probably win DPOY and not make the probowl. Pacman will be a probowler though.

He's dominant. If he doesn't make the pro bowl it's an absolute scham.

My favorite defensive player on the Packers, very very deserving.

And why didn't we try Woodson on Plaxico in last years playoff game? He has been one of the better free agent signings in team history after Reggie. Glad to see him doing this well. I thought it was a good signing but he has really exceeded my expectations.

Gotta love Woodson. Apart from Rouse, I really like our secondary, even with Harris and Bigby out. Peprah can make a hit, Collins is excelling in all facets, Tramon looks like a star in the making and Woodson is easily defensive MVP.

Re: Woodson -- Defensive Player of the Month
Woodson is a prime example of how sometimes as fans we can form impressions of a player and a person from afar that are entirely off base. He was labeled as being kinda selfish, injury prone, and not always willing to tough it out when with the Raiders and all he's been with the Packers is a true professional.

Walter Payton would have gotten a bad rap if he were on the Raiders
