Both of whom are starting in the Pro Bowl.

Neither a surprise. The secondary is in great shape, especially if Blackmon and Lee develop. Tramon is a starting caliber DB and Bigby/Collins is still a young safety duo with a lot of potential.

Favre over Rivers. Travesty.

Favre carried the fav vote.

Collins is lucky the voting was done awhile ago. As McGinn said (and I agree), "Collins performance level has really dipped in the last month."

I'm not sold at all on Williams, and Bigby has had some good games part of one season. We'll see.

Not sold on Tramon? Why not?

Good for Collins--I didn't think he was a shoo-in by any means.

Rivers will be in when Favre does his yearly decline or fake injury or whatever.

Anyone thing Rodgers is the next one in for the NFC? Or do they go with the shortened season of Romo?

Props to Woodson, he finally is getting his due credit for his stellar play the last few years. To bad it had to come during such a disappointing season for the team.

I think the Nick Collins thing is almost a joke. As MD noted, his play has fallen way off. When you think of pro-bowl safeties, you just don't think "Nick Collins". Unfortunately this will probably increase the price for his next contract.

Re Favre, I'd guess he'll play this year. I think his selection is pretty meaningful and he'll want to showcase that.

Jennings I think got ripped off. He should have made the team outright and not been an alternate.

I agree Collins doesn't deserve to be there, his play over the past month has been bad. Favre is the 3rd best QB this year in his own conference, these 2 choices alone gives this game no credibility. I am not even sure why they have the game, the majority of the players don't want too play in it.

Lead the conference in INTs and the league in defensive scoring and you earn a trip to the Pro Bowl, simple as that.

Collins gave up some big plays this year, but what safeties don't? Collins overall had a great season.

I'd say he had a better year than prior seasons and showed his potential, but he really needs to become a more consistent and less mistake prone player.

Yep and fans don't eve care about the game either, i can't remember the last time i watched the Pro Bowl. They'd be better off letting coaches and GM's vote and just give out awards for the best players at each position.

I can't remember the last time I watched it, either. I usually set out with the intention to do so, then end up only watching about 10 minutes worth.

Unfortunately that's true. The INT's are an easy stat to read and cover up how bad he has been this year, especially the second half of the season.

You thought he was bad even before the last 3-4 games? I thought he was playing at an elite level up until that point. He wasn't making mistakes and was making huge plays.

Both Woodson and Collins ended up as 2nd-Team All-Pros as well.
