Wow. I know there was talk about this but no way I thought Jerry had the balls to do it. This guy must have been just a huge cancer. There is no doubt in my mind he can still be another 1 reciever for a few more years. The shape he is in and his playmaking ability.

Maybe Jones is finally getting it?
Very interesting. Al Davis is celebrating.

Rumor has it, his wife or significant other sitting on his lap jumped for joy when she felt something move for the first time in 10+ years as they saw this on TV.
Sadly, it ended up being his checkbook automatically opening as this happened.

Imagine if the Hoodie decided to take a shot at him. Him lining up on the other side of Moss with a healthy Brady throwing to them. The thing is I could see him trying to do that and TO might just clean up his act for a year or two to get that ring

Green Bay was interested when he was on the outs in Philly. If Jennings won't re-sign here am I insane in thinking Owens could be a very interesting option for two years?
I must have drank way too much tonight.

I can see TT being interested out of guilt from missing out on Moss. Plus he doesn't have to give up any picks.

T.O. on the green bay packers would be a sure sign of the apocalypse. i don't think he would ever work for a publicly owned, non-profit corporation out of principle anyways.

He'll end up with the Giants. I can't believe they released him though.

I wonder if the Vikes or Bears go after him.

let's reread some of those other FA posts.
wake - up smell the burnt toast.
Even if TT wanted to sign TO, no way would Mr I want the spotlight on me even think about wanting to play for the packers in podunk green bay.
With TO, it's not only about the money. it's about the popcorn! it's showtime. there just aren't enough spotlights in green bay or the state of Wisconsin to perk the interest of TO much less his agent.
let him sign with the bengals. i recall just last year when Oucho cinco de mayo was saying how great he would be as a Cowboy with TO. But alas, Cincy just signed favre's favorite outspoken receiver - Coles to replace their house. if they had only waited another day.
and no, stranger things have not happened.

You'll know that Jones finally gets it when he hires a real GM to run his team, but hopefully he never does because it's wonderful entertainment for me to watch while the camera pans into his luxury box as the Cowboys are gagging away important games late in the year or playoffs games. Man i can't stand Jerry Jones. It's weird because as a little kid i loved the Cowboys and had Dallas sheets on my bed, a Dallas blanket, a Dallas jacket, and even cried when the Steelers beat them in the Super Bowl. Now though, i love seeing them lose more than any team besides the Vikings and maybe the Bears.

He's nowhere near good enough or important enough to winning games IMO for any team to add a cancer like TO. You'd think after awhile he'd have finally matured even a little bit in the desire to win a title, but he just cares about nothing else except him being in the limelight.

This might be the dumbest thought I have yet to see...guilt over Moss? The Packers were jacked at receiver 2 years ago, TT has no reason to feel guilty for not bringing in a first class a-hole.

He's not going to play for a team without a quality qb, so you can cross out half the league there. I'm thinking SD or NYG. Daniel Snyder probably just jizzed in his pants too.

I could deal with Dallas winning a sbowl alot better now.
Good for Dallas.
And I hope we don't want him. High priced cancer.

Cowboys | Salary cap ramifications of Owens' release
Wed, 04 Mar 2009 23:59:04 -0800
Clarence E. Hill, Jr., of The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports WR Terrell Owens will count $9.675 million in dead money against the Dallas Cowboys' salary cap in 2009, but they will only lose $680,000 in actual cap money. The team saves $3.1 million in real dollars because he will not receive a June 1 roster bonus. He was previously set to cost the team $8.995 million against the cap.

You did not want Moss but want Owens? Have another drink.
