Yeah, McCarthy said earlier in the offseason that he thought Hunter would fare better in the new system because he clearly wasn't comfortable at the weight he played at last season. This doesn't shock me, especially if we're looking at a guy like LaBoy, who is oft-injured but is also a clear upgrade over Hunter.

Horrible fit for the 3-4. Not big enough for DE, not fluid enough for LB.

He's been on the roster because of his special teams play. We just added two new stellar special teamers in Matthews and Johnson so he was a big waste of a roster spot. Hopefully he catches on somewhere else.
