Jolly Trial Starts Friday

Good article. Even if he gets off I can't see TT giving him an extension. They didn't want to give Corey big money because of character issues and I think the same will apply to Jolly.

As hard as it may be, Jolly should just avoid ever going back home.

Case dismissed, likely to be refiled.

That's not right. If they don't have the equipment when the trial is scheduled to start too bad for the prosecution.

If charges aren't refiled for 3 months, the trial won't be until next year some time. Jolly will be a free agent in February. It will be interesting to see his situation play out.

So does this mean he is going to be playing all year? Because that would be a huge boost for the Packers.

Yeah. He needs a crafty lawyer to claim this violates his 6th amendment right to a speedy trial.

Yeah he should be able to play all year. There is no way the Pack will give him an extension without knowing what his status will be. Neither will anyone else. One reason his lawyers don't want to plea bargain the charges down is that if he's concvicted of even a lesser charge the Comish will suspend him.
