Cincinnati's defense was solid last year (not great, but solid), but Orton had a pretty good game against them yesterday (100.7 rating). I look for Rodgers to use that Jennings TD as a springboard, and I think he goes for 250-300 with 2-3 TD's this game.

Palmer was terrible against a mediocre Denver D, I think we can pressure him in this game.

Should be a win for sure at Lambeau, but nothing is for sure. Need to take this game and the Rams game and head to Minny 3-0.

I'll be watching Maualuga. Hopefully Chad plays like Ochostinko, and we can get pressure on Palmer for picks.

seriously, i'm counting on you guys. i don't want a rejuvenated bengals team having anything to do with the battle for the afc north.

if you beat them by like 30, between that and last week's debacle, chad johnson might just pack up and go home

We SHOULD beat them by a large margin based on how awful the Denver game was.

I liken this game to the Arizona game we had back in 06 where the team we're facing is coming off a completely devastating loss. We took it to the Cards in that game with a lame-duck coach and I think the Bengals are sort of in the same position. Let's do the same thing to them this Sunday.

Not to sound cocky but I don't think the Packers will have any let down games this year,in other words I don't see the Packers losing to teams they should beat this season.

The team seems way to focused in 2009 to let that happen, this seems like a year the Packers beat the teams they should beat and then win their share of games vs the good teams..I could be wrong but that's my feeling from watching this team since camp opened.

I don't think it was lack of focus or any of those emotional things people like to say that cost us games last year. It was poor special teams and most importantly, an inflexible defense coordinator that ran a defense where the front four had to provide all the pressure on the QB, but we only had one pass rushing defensive lineman on the roster. Teams with poor defenses and below average special teams units will always struggle to consistently win, regardless who they are playing.

Those units look to be in much better hands this year, that's where the more consistent play will come from.

Almost every team in the history of the league has a let down game now and then. We were clearly the best team in the league when we won it all, and we lost 3, didn't we? There's no realistic way to avoid a let down game at some point during the season. We'll probably win one that we shouldn't, too.

Early in the season, all I care about is wins and losses. Teams haven't really sorted themselves out yet, but the games will ultimately still matter for seeding. I'll worry about how pretty it looks starting around week 10.

I wasn't saying that socalled let down games never happen in the NFL, just that i think to often when a fairly big to a big favorite loses a game, right away most fans simply assume it was some emotional let down that caused it.

Football is a game that can drastically turn based on turnovers and/or big special teams plays, especially for a team playing on the road. More times than not when a sizable favorite loses, turnovers were a major factor. They turn it over a couple of times in the first half to keep the big underdog in the game or in the lead, suddenly that dog has a reason to keep playing hard because upsets are all they really have to play for. The favorite gets out of their game plan and rattled if on the road and the crowd is in a frenzy sensing an upset. Things snowball and what looked to be a cakewalk is now instead a dogfight. Now maybe the favorite wasn't as excited prior to the game like if they were facing a better team, but big mistakes that happen in games can happen to an otherwise focused team.

Again, i'm not saying emotional let downs never happen, i'm just not as quick to jump to that conclusion over a surprising loss as many others are. Even poor teams in the NFL have a number a quality football players.

How can you have a let down game when your offense was rather pathetic after a ton of hype. That offensive (very offensive) line better be chomping at the bit to get back on that field and prove last week was a fluke.

I think some better play calling could help the offensive line out a lot. Like using the screen pass on first down instead of third, using the play action pass earlier in the game once you've established the run, putting a TE on the right side to help Barbre, use less 4 & 5 wide sets, etc. I also don't like using Wynn as a third down back, put him in for a whole series, and quit pulling Grant out after he gets a head of steam going. Our play calling was so predictable last week that it wasn't even funny. I think that the Bears started moving the ball better in the second half because our D started getting tired. Our bombs away offense wasn't working and we had too many 3 and outs. Hopefully we can run the ball more consistently this week to set up 3rd and short. I think it starts with running away from Rey.

Hopefully Raji and Blackmon practice today. If they don't that's not a good sign. Jackson too.

Yeah, I really have to get more diligent with quoting the people to whom I'm responding, because I was directing that at rila's definition of "let down game" and suggestion that we won't have any. I completely agree with you, I was just using a different definition of "let down game."

I don't follow tweets and stuff, so I don't know exactly what he has said...

But apparently 'Ochocinco' has been ripping on our corner backs via tweets.

Yeah and he's going to do a Lambeau Leap if he scores. I tired of his act years ago.

Ripping on members of the defense the game after they picked off the opposing QB 4 times. Brilliant thinking Chad.

Meh. I don't mind chads antics. They are always in good fun. It's like when Muhammad Ali used to do crazy stuff to get some hype before a fight. Except the bengals are more like Jerry quarry ready to collect a paycheck after an ass whooping.

I'm surprised Ogunleye never thought we were screening to his side with how easily he got past Barbre on a few occasions.

Also, I don't think you're giving enough credit to the Bears and their scheme in general. They really took away the quick slant game and gave the Packers some new looks.

Generally, I will agree that the playcalling was a bit unimaginative, though.
