Not sure how I feel about this. We do need help on the line but he was drafted by the same genius who put together the rest of our line.

I can't say I was overly impressed by him in his limited snaps in the preseason.

We really need to start focusing on drafting OL in earlier rounds. I know last year we had to shore up the defense, but the year before it was pretty inexcusable to trade out of the 1st round and take Jordy with our first overall pick in the 2nd round.

Don't get me wrong, Jordy's a fine #3 or #4 target. But I think everyone on here can attest that a decent tackle or guard is more important than a 3rd or 4th string wideout. Hopefully we fix that in the upcoming draft.

I can't believe how quickly he fell out of favor. He was a hyped up fifth rounder and now isn't on the team.

Hyped up on the internet, which means nothing in reality.

Hey, Meredith didn't show much of anything in preseason and i didn't read much of him impressing during camp. That said, he must have showed enough of something to be invited on to the practice squad. I sure hope Meredith never amounts to anything in Buffalo because given the huge importance, value, and scarcity of tackles in the NFL, if we let a young one go that amounts to something elsewhere while at the same time we keep three fullbacks on the roster, it will be a move that will look very ugly.

The time you spend hyping prospects you haven't really seen play is pointless, everything else is life or death important. :D
