Around the League-Week 16

This might be San Diego's year. They are really rolling right now. It would be nice to see them renew their playoff rivalry with New England. An AFC Title game with them at Indy would be a great one too.

Games of note for the Pack:
Noon
SEA @ GB (obviously)
CAR @ NYG - as we all know, we need a Giants loss here.
STL @ AZ - although highly unlikely, we'd like to see an AZ loss so they lock into the 4 seed and rest their starters against us.

3:15
DEN @ PHI - we need a PHI win for 2 reasons: 1) Put the heat on the Vikings so that they play their starters against the Giants next week. 2) Make the 3rd seed unreachable for AZ so that they rest their starters against us.

Sunday Night
DAL @ WAS - Need a DAL loss here. Hopefully the Redskins haven't quit and show some fire after being embarrassed last week. They usually play DAL really tough at home, either winning or losing by less than a TD the past 5 years.

Monday Night
MIN @ CHI - Need CHI to win so that MIN will be forced to play their starters against NYG.

AZ with nothing to play for next week would be huge although I'd rather just lock it up this week so we can rest our guys too.

We don't necessarily need Chicago to win this one. We just need to Eagles to win. The Vikings need a win or a tie and a Philadelphia loss or a tie and a Philadelphia loss to clinch the second seed.

Couple of playoff contending teams just getting blown out. Giants obviously but the Dolphins are also getting blown out by Houston.

Packer great Brian Brohm - 11/19, 86 yards and 1 INT in his first career start. Brady Quinn would be proud of those stats.

ravens looking like crap on this drive

a mcgahee td run is called back, mason drops an unbelievably wide open td that hits him in the facemask, then they commit 2 different penalties on a screen pass, and then have to burn a timeout because they took too long to get to the line

that's one series of plays

omfg

then on an incomplete pass on 2nd and 15, there's a late hit penalty that bumps them back to 3rd and 30

God I love that Stewart killed the Giants, but I'm playing against him in fantasy. Time for him to take it easy, he's already got 200 yards rushing and a td.
