O'Brien Schofield and NICK TOON Wallpapers (Updated 1/7)

Those that have been around these boards for awhile probably know that I used to make desktop wallpapers a lot, though I don't recall if I always posted them here. Haven't so much in recent years, but I've been working on this one just for myself for a few months now off and on (much more off than on). I was using a non-finished version of it, but I recently finished it and thought that I'd share it with others for the heck of it. It's designed (the resolution and location of the credit line) for my desktop mac, but if it's too big for you and you'd like to use it let me know and I'll try to get it into other resolutions (sizes).
Click for the full-sized version.

Enjoy.

The first was obviously such a hit I thought I'd bring you a second!
In all seriousness, I got a request elsewhere to do more. I originally wasn't going to 'take requests' because this was something I just did for myself and figured I'd share for the hell of it, and didn't want to dedicate a lot more time to it, but I changed my mind and found a sweet picture of Toon's catch against Michigan.
Again, click for full-size.

You make me sick.
None of us are worthy of having Nick Toon on our desktops.

Not even Nick Toon is worthy of having Nick Toon on his desktop. That's how awesome he is.

All of this Nick Toon talk pales in comparison now after reading the amazing 'claim the Packers off of waivers' line.
I thought this would be the perfect way for you to worship him whenever you have your computer on.

Seriously though, when do you guys think Toon will enter the draft?

If he has a big season, he very well could do it next year. He'll likely be done with school, Tolzien will be graduating, Clay could leave, etc. My early prediction is that he has a 1,000 yard season and leaves early along with Clay.
Of course, I hope both stay

Interesting, I had always assumed they'd stay 4 years, but I guess the Tolzien factor could play a large part in both leaving early.

That'd make me happy. Where they grade out will of course play a factor. BB announced that two players will be 'testing the waters' just to get feedback from NFL scouts about what to do to improve their stock. He didn't way who, but it's expected that it's Clay and Carimi. My hope is that Clay hears he needs to drop a few pounds, does so, and comes back and has a huge season. Considering he's now on the map with a 1,500 yard season and as the B10's OPOY, he has some Heisman hopes. The downside to him potentially having such a big season is that he'd likely leave.
Toon very well could stay a fifth year (fourth playing). That'd be great, and would help make the transition easier for the next QB. But with Carimi, Tolzien, Kendricks graduating, and possibly Clay leaving early, I wouldn't be surprised to see him throw his name in, too - especially if he has a big season and with a rookie pay scale looming in 2012 as is now expected.

I'm obviously a Gopher fan but I'd be excited to see what Clay could do if he dropped some weight. He's one of my favorite players in the BIGTEN which isn't easy for me to say being a Gopher fan, especially considering he gashed the hell out of us this year. If I could take any player in the BIGTEN and put him on the Gophers it would definitely be Clay, he's just a beast.

Clay definitely needs to lose some weight, even if its only down to a toned 240.

I've long maintained that I wish he played in the 235 range, which would take him dropping at least 15 pounds. That's about the weight guys like Jonathan Stewart, Michael Turner, and Steven Jackson play at. To be fair, he's taller than both Stewart and Turner, but he'd still be big enough to bruise people, yet the lost weight would likely benefit his agility and quickness.

I could live with 240. My guess is that he finished the season around 255, 260.

Nick Toon can set ants on fire with a magnifying glass. At night.

If he got to 240, Clay would be such a force next year with our line all coming back
