I should be putting that "Dumb and Dumber" picture that all the Favre homers and TT haters parade around.

Matthews is so good Nick Toon took a nanosecond out of his day to admire him.

Green Bay linebacker Clay Matthews was added to the Pro Bowl after Chicago linebacker Lance Briggs pulled out because of a knee injury. Matthews was a first alternate for the honor after amassing 10 sacks. He becomes the Packers’ first rookie to make the Pro Bowl since receiver James Lofton in 1978.

In quotes distributed by the Packers, Matthews said he has “gradually been getting better and better” throughout the season. He added: “I feel like I am playing at a level that benefits our team. I am able to generate pressure on the passer, hold the point of attack against the run, and overall be a force on the right side of the line. I just look to continue to develop.”

You mean the same people who start blogs, only post after Packer losses, and then abandon it after a playoff birth is clinched?

Not surprised (figured he would get in as the first alt), but obviously happy for him...despite what I think of the Pro Bowl.

Congrats to Clay!

Awesome to see, although I echo the sentiment in hoping he doesn't play, regardless of why. The Pro Bowl game itself is a joke.

I'm not worried about the Probowl or the national press going to Clay's head. But let's try to keep this admiration from Nick Toon a secret. We can't afford Clay getting a big head before the Playoffs.
