I would love to play on the field on the water.

Some of those stadiums look very beautiful. The only real head scratcher is the slanted one on the side of the highway, some of those other ones are pretty amazing either architecturally or geographically.

I thought this might be on the list, but I guess it really isn't a stadium:

Is that the court on top of the hotel in Dubai?

It's the helicopter pad on the "Sail" hotel in Dubai. They put a court on the pad as a publicity stunt. I'm pretty sure Tiger Woods hit golf balls off of it as well.

Ah, yeah I had heard about Woods hitting golf balls and the tennis match, didn't realize it was a helicopter pad and hadn't seen that shot, pretty cool looking from above like that.

The one from Braga Portugal is 15 miles from my house. I've been there in a couple of times in the summer and its fantastic. The rocked part is in only one side but it makes the acoustic even greater. Although the photos in that website doesn't make.

Wow, I wonder how much it cost? Do you think that they built it into the hill like that because they thought it would be a unique feature? I have to assume there is other land in Portugal suitable for soccer stadiums...

Over 100Million Euros. (140MDollars)

Of course the workforce here is a lot cheaper than in the US.

As for the location i can't say for sure the reason. At least is something to talk about i think, although it was fully payed with public money
