NFC CHAMPIONSHIP - Minny @ Saints - 5:30 p.m.

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Jan 24, 2010 2:48 pm

This is the one we are waiting for. I have a feeling this will be at least a 17 point win. But it could go either way...
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Most critical match up

MN OL vs NO DL

Because Brett is more rattled by pressure than Drew

IF NO has no pass rush = queens win

Darren Sharper makes an old friend look like a fool today. 31-14 Saints.

Favre throws 2 crucial picks.

WHO DAT?

I have a sick feeling that the Vikings are going to win and win easily. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Shaper is a POS, but could give the Saints defense somewhat of an advantage with the Favre intangibles.

http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_/id/9309/vikings-flew-in-real-pants-on-the-ground-guy

NEW ORLEANS -- Apparently Brett Favre’s rendition of “Pants on the Ground” last Sunday wasn’t good enough. Minnesota officials flew in the original American Idol singer, a man by the name of General Larry Platt, to perform the song in a team meeting Sunday.

Don’t believe me? Vikings left tackle Bryant McKinnie, currently the best beat reporter covering the team, revealed it in his Twitter page. Follow this link, which takes you to another link of McKinnie’s grainy cell phone video of the performance. Tight end Visanthe Shiancoe, meanwhile, tweeted this picture.

I hate to read too much into this, but I think it’s at least marginally interesting that the Vikings brought in Platt for their meeting while New Orleans had Hall of Fame safety Ronnie Lott speak at theirs, according to ESPN's Rachel Nichols. A slightly disparate approach, to say the least.

Karma time. What comes around goes around, and it is time for Farve and the ViQueens to get shredded by the Saints.

Jesus. They'll have to put the entire realgm packers board on a two week long suicide watch after Brett has fantastic game and leads the Vikings into the super bowl.

I hope this already very good day (got a PS3, playing Uncharted 2 right now, sooo good so far) can be capped off by the Saints knocking Minnesota out. If the Jets can hold on for the win and the Vikings can win later, I'm very worried Favre will win it all.

Nervous about the game...but, if they get past the Saints I really doubt they'll beat the Colts.
You've ruined the act, Gob.

I don't recall ever being so invested in a non-Packers game. Go Saints!!!

The names have changed over the years, but the ViQueen's tradition of choking has remained constant. Today will be no different, even if they had to get a former Packer great to win. Go Saints!!!
