Dick Clark has just asked Adrian Peterson to be his guest host for his next New Year's Eve bash. He wanted someone who is an expert at dropping the ball.

wooo, and somewhere Aaron Rodgers is smiling inside while Steve Nash troubles him with tales of his stolen sitcom.
What a game, and did any GBP fan not see this coming? aaah, the vindication is sweet.
What a shame for favre though, his evil side only really surfaced today after "all day", migraines, and berrian kept laying the ball on the ground. Also, my god, after tonight I don't think Brett is coming back. He looked drained in the interviews leading up to the game, and I think his body may break down completely tonight. What a journey.

He got hit hard and often tonight, after that one hit where he got drilled into the ground I don't think I've ever seen him look like he was in that much pain after a hit, I was doubting whether he would come back after seeing that.

Fun Fact:
The last 3 seasons for Brent have ended in his last pass being a INT

The best part is this season was set up for Brent.
Eight games in at home in a dome.
Two road games in a dome in Detroit and St. Louis.
Pittsburgh and Green Bay on the road early enough before the weather got really cold.
Another game in Arizona.
Two "cold weather" games in Carolina and Chicago late in the year.
Home field through the divisional playoffs.
Conference championship game in a dome.
And he still choked big time with a chance to win late in the game.

Next season if he comes back isn't going to be as easy. With road games against Green Bay, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, New England and New York he isn't going to be able to escape cold weather games and the opponents are much tougher.

If Favre won, I was going to be glad that I'm not in Wisconsin right now. Now that he threw that pick and lost, I wish I was back home. I might have to stream some of the local sports talk radio tomorrow.

Yeah lately at work I've taken to having a DVD playing on my laptop in the background over the radio to avoid the Favre love fest. Think tomorrow I'm going to have to turn the radio on.

I think, regardless of what happens next year, this is the final break between the state of Wisconsin and Favre. If he would have won the Super Bowl in his first season with Minnesota, we'd have thought they didn't really earn the title and Favre was a hired gun. All the more power to him if he comes back, but perhaps some of the rhetoric coming out of Minnesota can end. Now they know how we've felt and they've been hurt by Favre's achilles heel, the fact that he is INT prone. Him winning it all next year, which I can't imagine will happen, will be a lot less painful than if they'd have managed to win it next year.

Yeah at this point I don't care if he comes back, the Vikings are only getting older and more banged up, Favre included. We are younger and stronger and faster and hopefully with the addition of 1-2 key players from the draft, maybe another 1-3 contributers, probably a long shot to hope for a key free agent but you never know, now that we are close maybe TT will break the mold and go after a free agent, he did break the mold and trade up last year after all. We should be an improved team next year whereas I think the Vikings are due for a drop off. Of course time will tell and you still have to play the games but I see no reason why we won't be a better team next year than this year and the Vikings won't be as good.

I think we true Packers fans really need to thank Favre for these last two years. He single handedly:
1. Gave us the ammunition to acquire Clay Matthews and
2. Set the Queens back 3 years by: 1. playing well enough to move them out of contention for a decent QB in the draft this year, 2. Getting Childress an extension and 3. Giving MIN a false sense of hope on offense - Rice/Harvin/Schianco/Berrian will be in for surprise next year with anyone but Favre under center.
I LOVE AND THANK BRETT FAVRE FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE GB PACKERS THE LAST 2 YEARS!!!
