I thought I would start a new thread for free agency and have some fun with rumors going on.

Jason Wilde was on 540 ESPN and said there is a strong rumor that Kampman could be on his way to Philly tonight for a visit and they might be on the top of his list.

On the Green Bay Press Gazzette page it appears the Packers are negotiating very hard with Clifton in hopes of getting him signed by the start of free agency.

Chicago going after Peppers.

The Bears signed Manumaleuna...tha fat TE....Martz has already told Olsen they have no need for him. Appears the Bears and Lions are going to spend money...Nate Burleson does nothing for me and Vanden Bosch might be close to done....was nothing without Haynesworth.

Nate Burleson I agree does nothing but he is an upgrade over what the Lions have and being opposite of Megatron won't hurt his playmaking ability at all.

Chicago is going to either be boom or bust depending who they sign and how they perform. It is clear that they are going to spend money and really try to make a splash here will be interesting to see how it turns out for them.

Detroit doesn't really worry me because, well they are Detroit.

Eagles and Pats have made offers to Peppers.

Bucs have made signing Kampman their top offseason goal. Ha.

Tampa Bay has HUGE interest in Aaron Kampman.

Well TT seems to have been right about that. But Lions play 4-3 so maybe CW will play well again as DT instead of 3-4 DE. Hope not.

Word is that Olson has asked for a trade. Rumors of Pats and Broncos. Bears fans want Marshall to come back in the deal.

Vanden Bosch fell off a cliff last year, only 3 sacks. Only 4.5 the year before in 10 games.

Bears expected to announce signing of Peppers by Friday.

Wow, the Bears are really going at FA this year. Peppers, Chester Taylor (still yet to be seen), Manumsomething...

The Lions defensive line could become pretty good if they take Suh or McCoy... Assuming that VDB and Williams both return to close to what they once were.
