Is he retired playing the Yukalali, or what? I though he still had a little left in the tank? How are the Yankee fans dealing with the loss of Bernie and do you all think he could end up making a comeback either with you're club or with anyone.. Thanks--hopefully you folks can ride A-Rod some more WOW! You guys should spend some money on that Bullpen...I feel so bad for Scott Proctor he has really good stuff seems like he is just unlucky.. Twins fan here, just wish we'd made a pitch for Bernie

Honestly, he's done. If he plays again he'll produce a .700 OPS, which is absolutely unacceptable from a guy who can't play defense anymore. Having him on the roster would actually hurt the Yankees, because Torre would be playing him way too much and taking at-bats away from better hitters. He'd also keep putting him on the field in places he can't cover, like right field at Fenway.

Again I feel sorry for Proctor...Would you all consider moving him?

No, and I feel sorry for you, you're the one who is a Twins fan. And our bullpen will be just fine. You act like teams don't go through funks during the season. Have fun not playing October pal.

Nope, Proctor is ours. He's a good reliever who is very overworked now.

But if you give us Johan Santana..

Its definitly Bernies time. If he makes a comeback and plays for another team, that would just hurt his legacy.
