Texans Week Five @ 49ers - 7:30 PM
Oy vey...have we all recovered from the past two weeks?
Big test tomorrow against the 49ers. I am very curious to see how this team responds after the player's only meeting that was called earlier this week by Arian Foster.
The big question is Matt Schaub - we all saw how he looked on the bench last week after that devastating Pick Six. Did he have a Brad Lidge/Albert Pujols moment last week, or can he come back from that game. One of the troubling things I saw from Schaub last week was that it seemed like he was only going with a few of his weapons with whom he is comfortable: Andre, the Great, Owen & Graham. DeAndre Hopkins did not get his first catch until the overtime, and that just can't happen.
The second big question is Brian Cushing's health. We saw just how important he is to this defense by his absence in the second half. JJ Watt was all over the place (as usual), but it seemed like without Cush the rest of the defense was significantly weaker and easier to exploit.
What is this team going to look like tomorrow night?

I think they should come out looking pretty good, but I'm guessing the 49ers will have some good tape to work with after the Texans coming off Seattle.
49ers figured some stuff out and are waiting on the Texans... I'm not real excited about this game.

That home run never happened. Let us never speak of it again.
As far as Schaub, let's hope he can be more like Oswalt in that game 6 and less like 'Pick-6 Schaub'.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

That homerun is still going.

Watt is great out putting pressure on the quarterback, but without Cushing to contain the run Wilson killed the Texans. The same will happen with Kaepfernick.

Cushing is cleared to play.
I wonder how often Schaub is going to be on his ass in this game. I'm guessing quite a lot, even if Brown plays.

I can't remember how the joke goes, but the punchline is "the 2013 Houston Texans."

One more week of Schaub and you'll have the evangelists rallying for Tebow!

So..... Josh Freeman? Sucks because the rest of the team is so good.

Yates needs to start the rest of the season...Schaub has lost all confidence! Personally, i hope to see Keenum come in...the entire team was garbage...we can't even beat an injured 49ers team...
CORRECTION: we couldn't even make the game competitive against the injured 49ers team

Wow! This is the kind of game that gets a coach fired. The defense barely gets enough rest there.

He's been saying it for the past several seasons....McNair has to be sleeping with Kubes..

I know, but this season he's distanced himself a couple times from Schaub and we've finally seen him benched. I think they should walk as a pair and maybe McNair will make a tough decision.
Cetainly gets easier with the Rams coming up, but I'd rather see Yates again at least.
