Case to start once again

HOUSTON -- Houston Texans quarterback Case Keenum will start in Sunday night's game against the Indianapolis Colts, coach Gary Kubiak announced Monday.

The decision came even though former starter Matt Schaub returned to practice after missing the Texans' last game with a sprained ankle and foot.

"[Schaub] is obviously disappointed," Kubiak said. "I wouldn't expect anything else.

"We talked for a long time. He's a competitor. He wants to be the guy in there. I know it's very difficult on him. It's very difficult on me, too."

Kubiak said he informed both Keenum and Schaub of his decision last week before the Texans broke for their bye week.

"Obviously very disappointing for me after all we've been through here and all we've accomplished and done," Schaub said. "But I'm part of the reason that we're in this situation as a football team, so it's his decision. He's the head coach. Obviously as a player and competitor, I don't like it. I want to be out there."

This is the right choice of so many reasons but for one big one, Schuab is just too mentally weak to handle the fans boos. He is broken . He has ability to play on Sunday and needs a change of scenery.

Really do not care for wins so I am hoping for another lose

Nothing against Schaub, but once again I am glad that Case is getting an opportunity. This season is pretty much lost, so let's see if we have something moving forward with Keenum.

Rooting for Case, but if they lose to the Colts (which I think they will), I'm mostly rooting for a top draft pick at this point. Manziel...

I guess I'm just missing the appeal of Manziel.

I know that it is early, but this is the best I've seen the Special Teams in some time.

Did we make a coaching change?

TD # 2! Dre never had this luck with Shaub!

I feel like the Universe is righting itself.

It has been so wrong that a receiver as great as Andre Johnson to have such low TD numbers. I blame the coaching for that.

Two TD's early in the game. Kismet.

This might be the first time that Dre is playing with a quarterback who has a cannon for an arm.

Damn...Foster done for the night.

Now it is Tate with 4 broken ribs & Johnson from Arkansas.

Hopefully Tate keeps the run game honest and lets the air show continue for Keenum!

Keenum might throw an INT or two every now and then but the offense will be a lot more exciting with him there. Dre especially will love him.

I think that this is the first time all season that the Texans are intimidating an opponent.
