I'm moving this to the Texans forum, but a ghost topic will remain on this forum so that people can see it. It will take you directly to this thread.

I put it here because no one uses the Texans forums :-/

Good. It can't hurt to give him a shot at this point since Galifitzpatrick has been awful, though I think they should have made the move sooner.

I'd like to see Savage get a chance before the season is over to see what he is capable of too. If neither one of those guys is worth a damn long term then we wasted a pick on a QB in this draft and will still have to draft another one next year. Hopefully one of them actually pans out, but they still need a lot more help than just a QB.

Excited to see what this guy can do. I'm sure Hopkins & Johnson will be happy about the change.

Yes, please. The Rockets don't really need none of that Texans mojo.

There's no reason not to do this. Might as well see what we have now rather than wait a few more weeks.

Speaking of The Clown, I wonder if he will ever play in consecutive games? He sure has been great so far, I just hope he doesn't get a paper cut when he's wiping his vagina or we'll lose him for an entire season.

Yesterday was the first game he had to make throws from the pocket with the run game not yielding more than 3 yards per carry and he threw over receivers' heads all game long. Not sure if him being out for the season is a good or bad thing, just interesting to see if they go back to Fitz or go to Savage.

too bad we dont have cap room...i wouldn't mind taking a shot at peyton this summer...i think he leaves denver with so many free agents likely to leave on that team...if we had a half ass decent QB this season, it couldve changed things around...we played the colts so tough in both games

texans should take a look at Nick Foles. he could very likely be traded.

Sounds like the Texans have re-signed Mallett and have added Brian Hoyer.

Hopefully Mallet can earn the start and sling it around

Well, so much for Mallet getting the nod:

Kind of surprised here. I guess Hoyer was just performing that much better.
