"I was a 2-star recruit coming out and now I have three (Defensive Player of the Year) awards," Watt said after accepting the award. "So ... screw all of you guys for doubting me."
He joins Lawrence Taylor as the only 3-time Defensive Player of the Year recipients. Pretty nice company there!
Now let's hope that this team doesn't waste the prime of this guy's career and gets him some help on both sides of the ball.
