Clemens's ability to do practically anything he wants at this point never ceases to amaze me, especially seeing as how his numbers won't be that great if he decides to play for an AL team.

Pettite won't get out of the 3rd inning tomorrow. Delmon probably goes 3-5 with a 2 run blast.

Gonna be weird to see Pettite out there again, but very exciting. If he can get through 6 I'll be happy for a first outing. I'm not sure what to expect out of him, I think a lot of folks are expecting what we got from him the last time he dawned the pinstripes, but a lot has changed with him since then. Injuries etc.

Go Yanks! Quest for 162-0 continues :D

I know you were exagggerrating, but I think a 27th Yankee World Series Ring is much easier.

If he goes back to NY he is going to be public enemy number one, lol. People are already complaining on the sports talk shows about how he is using the Astro facilities to get in shape and practice perhaps only to go somewhere else and taking advantage of the organization.

Sure but he won't ever have to worry about facing Stro fans again...ever.

So any news on a possible rain-out? Or is it all still up in the air and they will decide like 2 hours after we've all been sitting through Yankeeography? I hate not knowing. -Jitpal

I really would hate that so early in the season. Someone getting overworked and developing spasms or something. Obliterating our bullpen in one day because we would be piecing together 6-8 innings. I wouldn't want to have to deal with that until late in the season when we can throw in some AAA guys to fill in the gaps. -Jitpal

Thats true :(

And is that official NYKNStill? Because That'd seem awfully wierd for them to announce it so early still.

The yes network website still says that the D-Rays/Yanks is happening today at 1:05. Same with the main Yanks website. -Jitpal

WFAN just announced it a postponed game.

Robinson Cano or Melky was going to leadoff today and unfortunately we have our first big injury Johnny Damon is out indefinitely. Damon told Andrew Marchant he could hardly walk w/o pain :(

So is Bernie then back in the fold? Cano should not leadoff, he does not have that kind of speed. Melky is a much better leadoff hitter than Cano. -Jitpal

Well this is his hometown so he will be back sooner or later and I can almost guarantee that there will be some liquored up hillbillies somewhere keeping their eyes peeled for him.
