It's been hard because I hate losing," Carr said Monday. "When you lose, it's not a fun game, and it's hard to play. The last couple of years, I've thought, 'Is it exciting for me to play anymore?'

"The moment I was released by Houston and I signed with Carolina, I felt like I was reborn. I was getting a fresh start. That's a feeling I hadn't had in a while."

"I've got a lot of good memories," he said. "There were some good times, but the bad times far outweighed them. That leaves a little bit of a sour taste because of unfinished business.

"At the same time, both sides have to move on, and it's going to be good for both of us. The NFL's a small world, and I'm sure we'll cross paths again somewhere."

I really believe he is going to have his chance as a starter again...DelHomme is still the starter as of right now though, right?

Yes, they signed Carr to back him up. Some people seem to think Carr will have the job by midseason but I'm pretty sure they don't know that he can't read defenses, lol. Maybe he will get coached up once he gets to Carolina.

I think he is going to have to get the opportunity through being called in due to injury, and maybe playing behind a good line we'll help not be scared but he has definitely got happy feet right now.

I can't believe I haven't heard anything about a QB controversy.
I'm sorry I haven't been funny. I am not a comedian. I am Lenny Bruce.
