Heard it on the radio. Hasn't hit the internet yet. Click on the link for his career stats.

Texans sign veteran receiver Davis to one-year deal

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/spo ... 10221.html

The Texans added a new member to its group of receivers today, signing Andre' Davis to a one-year, $850,000 contract.

Davis (6-1, 195 pounds) has played in 64 games with 24 starts during his five-year career. He is a former second-round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns in 2002 and has 104 receptions, 1,615 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.

Davis, who played for the Bills last season, joins an offense with a new starting running back in Ahman Green and a new quarterback in Matt Schaub. Davis said the addition of Schaub is especially appealing to him.

Yea I don't know anything about him either, he better be amazing!
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

He was a big time big play threat for the Browns early in his career. Former 2nd round pick but he just fell off the map for some reason over the past couple of years. I have no idea what happened to him. Perhaps nagging injuries...I don't know, just guessing. He got a pretty nice contract for a guy who hasn't done much of anything lately.

Well this off season is the best of them all, they really got things done this off season, Schub now has another WR to pass to. Great job Texans, I think this is the year they should measure the ability of how Kubiak does with his team.

Yeah I guess all we do now is draft Levi Brown and hope he turns into a monster left tackle...Unless Peterson or some one like Joe Thomas or Calvin Johnson slips to us.

Good pick up for us...I think he can help us a little bit, and give us some veteran leadership.
