I was hearing that the fans didn't care that the Oilers name went with Bud Adams & the team. Cause he angered the fans so much & drove them away. And that the Texans name was really wanted. Was anyone disappointed that the Oilers name, colors, & history stayed behind like what happened with Cleveland with the Browns? Or was there need for a new team name with a fresh start?
Mustangs was a throw in, you got the SMU Mustangs. A name that's outer space related because of the Astros, Rockets & Comets.
