Seeing that team up in Tennessee donning the Oilers jerseys is going to make me physically ill this season. Just another attempt by Bud to stick it to the city of Houston.
I understand where Moon and the guys are coming from when they say that they are happy to see the Oilers name is not forgotten...but it never was forgotten - it just has nothing to do with those guys up in Tennessee. No one in the state of Tennessee gives a damn about players like Warren Moon, Mike Munchak, Bruce Matthews, Earl Campbell or Ernest Givins. That is not their history - it means nothing to them!
A big "FU" to Roger Goodell for letting this happen.

Re: Oilers throwback jerseys
I have to admit, I watched the game tonight and almost wished the Oilers stayed. But, while they may have the records, a lot of former Oilers have shown their support for the Texans over the Oilers, including Earl Campbell and Bruce Mathews, who left the Titans to coach with the Texans.
I'm sorry I haven't been funny. I am not a comedian. I am Lenny Bruce.

Is it true that Bud is having his team wear the Oilers jerseys in Week 2 vs. the Texans?
God, that would be such a freaking dick move!

If this happens he needs to be assassinated.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

I think the AFL teams will only use the throwbacks against each other. If they do use the Oiler jerseys, it won't be the first time Bud Adams will need a police escort to get around town.
