Seriously guys the Texans need you. We're sorry for what we said in the past. Fred Bennett is in over his head.

I'm Jacques Reeves. I'll get back to Houston as soon as I get the Pink Panther diamond.

Dunta Robinson is coming back week 1.

Anyway, go look at the Texans board instead.

Dunta Robinson and the Houston Texans were moving ahead Sunday after the star cornerback ended his holdout and signed the one-year deal the team had been offering all along.

He took his physical early in the morning, then worked out for coaches.

“I feel like being a rookie all over again,” Robinson said. “I walked in here and all the guys they welcomed me with open arms with a lot of high-fives and a lot of hugs. It’s good to be back.”

Coach Gary Kubiak said there was no animosity even though Robinson held out for the entire training camp.

“It’s very positive,” Kubiak said. “I’m just excited to have him back.

“I’m fine with it. I understand the business and I understand what he went through. I understand all that. That’s over. It’s time to go play football.”

Finally. I pretty much expected this, but I was getting a bit worried since the season is starting next week and still hadn't heard much about him. I woke up today wondering if he was going to sign already or what, and sure enough first thing I see is that he has signed. Rejoice! Now he better go prove he's worth that contract he thinks he is(and didn't he turn down $23 million? Ouch, sucks to be a greedy athlete with an inflated sense of value, but welcome back anyways).

Welcome news, that is for sure! Our secondary just got better, even if the guy hasn't practiced in a while.

I didn't like the reports of him working out during this time with Ex-Jags receiver, Matt Jones. Well...as long as Dunta never got into a car with him I guess it's cool!

Good to know we have our probowl caliber corner back. Hopefully he can get back to playing like he was in '07 before the injury.

Texans cornerback Dunta Robinson has been fined an undisclosed amount for wearing shoes that read “Pay Me Rick” during Sunday's 24-7 loss to the New York Jets.

General manager Rick Smith fined Robinson for conduct detrimental to the team.

“I got here today, and it was in my locker,” Robinson said. “I knew it was coming because Rick told me (Monday) I was going to get fined. That's okay. I've put it behind me. I've moved on. I'm focused on the Titans.”

Robinson probably will be fined by the NFL as well because of a uniform violation.

“That's okay, too, because I'm focused on football,” Robinson said. “I'll pay whatever fines I'm given. I did it in fun. My teammates understood it was a joke. I didn't mean for it to become such a big deal. I didn't take it serious. My teammates didn't take it serious. I've moved on.”

Robinson said he would not appeal the fine.

What an idiot. That is all.

(btw Dunta, you're not that good)

I guess the 9 million plus for this year wasn't enough to be considered "paid"
