Angels @ Mariners (New Series)

Post#1 » by Bulltalk » Tue Aug 28, 2007 2:24 pm

Ouch. That was a definitive win for the Angels.

Tuesday--Weaver (6-10) vs. Santana (5-12)
Wednesday--Hernandez (10-6) vs. Weaver (9-6)

Hope we can get a win today. Weaver's been pitching well of late. If we can get the win today, we've got our ace to close out the series.

Today's game is key. We need to get out of town 1 game out of first place, rather than 3 games out, or 5 games out.

These are big ones.

Well we get to see round 2 of King Felix vs Jared Weaver duel. I saw the first one in which King Felix was easily the better pitcher going 8 strong and striking out 7.

We lost game 1 so these next two games are must wins.

Nothing went good for us yesterday..Vidro had a fine hitting game on his B-day. That's pretty much it...We need the hitting game we had before Texas though.

I hate series against the Angels.

Unless it's completely meaningless, the team absolutely folds.

Jeff Weaver had better have a perfect game break up with two outs in the ninth, otherwise I don't think I can be satisfied with his performance.

F**K YOU JEFF WEAVER!!!

The most important game possibly all year and you blow it in a way ONLY you could. McLaren should've yanked your ass back in the third, after you gave up the back-to-back home runs with two outs. You were done.

Piece of s**t f**king Mariners team.

I'm not even too upset about this Angels series. Our downfall occured during that Texas series, which is when things completely fell apart.

We wont make the playoffs. A team that runs through multiple 6-7 game losing streaks wopnt earn a spot in the postseason.

I'm still not watching this team until they get their act together.
