MLB, defense wins championships, and they're generally the leader of the defense.

Why the Colts?
Born and raised in Indy

All-Time Favorite Colt:
Marshall Faulk

Favorite Current Colt:
Robert Mathis

Favorite Colts Moment:
Tom Brady to Marlin Jackson

Least Favorite Moment:
Hmm...not quite Vandy shanking the field goal, but Harper cutting back on the fumble return and allowing Roethlisberger to make the tackle. Keep running outside, make him catch you.

If you could play football, what position and why?

Safety or Tight End. I love reading the play, and sneaking in at the last second to make a major play.

Will the Colts repeat?

God, I hope so.

Why the Colts? Pre-1984, I always like Bert Jones, though I was an Eagles fan. Since I love all things Indy, it was just a natural when they came to town.

All-Time Favorite Colt:
Tough call...probably Peyton, but that's kinda cliche. Non-Peyton, I'd have to say maybe Marvin, Eric Dickerson?

Favorite Current Colt:
Peyton, Joseph Addai

Favorite Colts Moment:
Seeing Peyton's reaction after Marlin's INT...

Least Favorite Moment:
Anything in New England in the snow

If you could play football, what position and why?

MLB, when I was a kid, that was the cool position.

Will the Colts repeat?

Damn Straight, bubba

yeah...a sticky will do a lot at the beginning :D

hehe, yeah but I think this thread should be around a long time, so whenever new members come to this board they can post in it.

Why the Colts?
Not sure really. When i was little I became a Colt/Magic fan even though I live in Connecticut. :dontknow:

All-Time Favorite Colt:
Johnny Unitas...a little before my time but he was awesome and has my birthday.

Favorite Current Colt:
Bob Sanders/Marvin Harrison

Favorite Colts Moment:
I'll have to go with the whole comeback vs the Pats and then Marlin Jackson intercepting Tom Brady en route to the Super Bowl as PR07 said. And of course winning the superbowl.

Least Favorite Moment:
Gotta agree with Mike Vanderjagt shanking the field goal in the Pittsburgh playoff game. Also when Edge got stopped on the goal line vs the Pats in the RCA Dome and all the playoff losses against them. Being a Colt fan in New England isn't easy. :)

If you could play football, what position and why?
Wide Receiver. I'm fast and can catch, it makes sense I guess.

Will the Colts repeat?
I hope so.

All-Time Favorite Colt:
Manning

Favorite Current Colt:
Manning, but really loving Bob Sanders( one of my friends played high school football with him so that helps)

Favorite Colts Moment:
The second the clocked ticked away on our Superbowl Victory

Worst Colts Moment:
Fill in any time the Pats cruched my dreams

If you could play football, what position and why?

Saftey. Someone like Sanders that sits back and hits like a Mac truck

Will the Colts repeat?

Hard for anyone to. But i with a lil luck, we go all the way

Why the Colts?
I've lived in Indiana my entire life.

All-Time Favorite Colt:
Manning (Johnny U shouldn't even count, he was Baltimore)

Favorite Current Colt:
Manning

Favorite Moment:
Addai giving us the lead vs. the Pats

Least Favorite Moment:
I'd have to go with Hester's return for the TD on the opening drive since it was the biggest game we've played in and at that point I was a little worried.

If I could play one position:
OL. I played there when I used to play, it just seems to be the logical thing to do.

Will the Colts repeat?
Why not?

Y for Blue?
Born and Raised in the County of... Marion???

All-Time Fav Colt?
Starvin Marvin

Fav Colt at this minute?
The Eraser aka The Hitman aka Boom Sanders

Fav Colts Moment?
The Greatest Conference Championship Comeback Ever! Brady to Jackson! The eyes of Reche after dropping that sideline pass... Priceless!

Worst Colts Moment?
Split decision, b/c both could've led to titles. Of course, Harper running towards Ben... WTF, man? And even tho I like the Bus b/c of his ND ties, we could've won that yr... And 2, Bailey not closing his arms on Harbaugh's Hail Mary! After watching O'Donnell playing pitch-n-catch w/ Larry Brown, next season, our 1st game is vs. Dallas, in Dallas, and we win on a last-second FG! Damn!

What position and Y?
Safety/STer! I love hitting, jarring the ball away, and getting hype!

Will we repeat?
Not if Peyton keeps forgetting his playbook... And especially if he passes like he did w/ those kids from United Way! Other than that, can I get a HellYeah?!?

an edit to my favorite colts moment:

i believe that the quote is something like "Brady over the middle.....Marlin's got it! We're going to the Superbowl!"

i do believe that in that very moment, i turned around and said: "hug me mommy, we're going to the superbowl!"

i dont care if "mommy" is a little immature to say at my age, but hey, we just won the AFC championship game, i could really care less about everything

Why the Colts?

Live in Indy. Became a Colts fan when the team moved to Indy from Baltimore. Season ticket holder during the bad times and the good.

All-Time Favorite Colt:

Probably Jim Harbaugh. He proved that it was possible for the Colts to get to the Superbowl. Perhaps Tony Siragusa who is larger than life. Highest respect for Peyton, but he doesn't need me as a fan boy. He has way more than a enough worshipers without me.

Favorite Current Colt:

I really like the team in general. Jeff Saturday is a personal favorite. He's a great guy. Also since our seats are in the end zone near the playing field I get to see he and his fellow offensive linemen go to work for Peyton, the receivers, and the backs.

Bob Sanders and Joseph Addai were also definitely personal favorites this year.

Favorite Colts Moment:

The entire playoff game against New England where I got to watch the Colts get the gorilla off their back and advance to the Super Bowl. That entire scene after the game was incredible to watch and feel. I enjoyed it as much as watching the Superbowl on TV and the live celebration on Monday in Indy.

The whole playoff run was satisfying and memorable.

Worst Colts Moment:

There were more than a few, which, of course, made the Superbowl run all the sweeter.

I think the worst loss for me was one I watched on TV. That blowout Wild Card playoff loss to the Jets where we embarrassed ourselves in New York on national TV. I watched in the Atlanta airport. We were so bad; It was hard to refrain from saying, "Same Old Dolts". "(

If you could play football, what position and why?

I played basketball in high school, but not football. I'm now an old geezer, and frankly I'd be happy to play any position you guys would let me play.

Will the Colts repeat?

Obviously they can, if things go right. Will things go right, like they did in '06-'07? I dunno. But it sure would be wonderful to go back-to-back.[/quote]
