Just wondering if you guys could see us having interest in him. I know we usually find our LB's later in the draft, but the dude is a stud. I dont think he will sign for alot of money. If he signed for cheap, i am all on board. Thoughts?

last news i heard from al wilson was that he failed his phyiscal when the Giants were looking to trade there 3rd rounder to the broncos for al. Al just got released by the broncos saving them 1.6 mill in cap this year. I say if the dude can pass a phyiscal then we gotta look into gettin him. hes someone i would love to get in a colts uni. he would step on the field and immediately become the colts defensive leader.

I've always liked Al Wilson's game, but I don't think he's a good fit for the Cover 2 scheme. He's better in a system where he can use his big size to occasionally blitz and get in the backfield which we hardly ever do with our linebackers. I'd look for the Saints, Lions, or Giants to show him some interest.
