Well, I read somewhere that Simon is gonna be at camp come Sunday... I must be going crazy, b/c I can't find the article, but I know I saw it. His agent said something to the effect that he was in shape, ready, and hungry to rejoin the team.

EDIT: Oh... here it is!
Defensive tackle Corey Simon, who missed the Indianapolis Colts

I am not sure whether or not I want Simon anymore. Good thing about getting rid of him: Saves a lot of money Good thing about keeping him: Could be very good if on

Ajizzle, I felt it was worthy of its own thread. Don't worry, it's still your baby though.

"Simon failed physical
There has been no resolution between the team and defensive tackle Corey Simon, even though coach Tony Dungy said the veteran failed his physical exam."

I don't even know what to think right now.

I still want him to show up and try.....Gosh i know i am dreaming...but Simon and McFarland in the middle....Alot of our run problems would be solved.

I would rather cut Simon and sign Sapp. I think Sapp would be cheaper than Simon.

Well if that were possible, i would love to see Sapp and Tony together again. I think he still has enough in the tank...but is that even a possiblity?

Simon, the Colts' starting defensive tackle for 13 games in 2005, and the team likely will reach a settlement to allow Simon to

I am torn between getting rid of Simon and keeping him. Also if we get rid of Simon do we save 4 million or 7 million?

I heard 4 million.

I know his base salary is 4 mil but through bonouses he would get 7 mil. Do they count bonoses in the salary cap?

I don't think they count bonuses against the cap. The bonus, however, is upfront money that the Colts will not be able to get back...but it will not count against the cap either from my understanding.

Thoughts on wether or not this is a good decision to cut Simon?
