Suppan has been nice all year I am starting to come around to the whole big contract. I was upset that we paid so much but the guy has been going out and just gettin wins, he doesn't seem to really wow me at any point of the game but he always seems to have good quality starts, and keeps the runs to a minimum. ESPN I CAN'T even REMEMBER THE LAST TIME WE WERE ON ESPN.

I understand it's a terrible thing with the death and all but geez, I think they've shown his jersey hanging in the dugout and bullpen 57 times already.

Also interesting, they said Attanasio attends every home game. Memo to ESPN, he still lives in L.A. Yes he's there tonight but he doesn't attend all that many games.

I knew I wasn't hallucinating. I swore that on that Pujols walk that he only had 3 balls. ESPN showed the at bat pitch by pitch and sure enough he walked on 3 balls without ANYONE saying a word.

Does that actually count as a walk against Suppan? MLB needs to get on this.

Oh yeah thats right...That was in Miller park to right?

Kinda off topic but is there any specific order that the MLB organizies inter-league play? Is there a certain rotation of who they will play each year?

Yes it was at Miller Park. I knew the answer to your question because it was a week after I got my tonsils taken out. :)

Yeah they have an order where you rotate between the East, Central and West and the different teams in that division. And teams always play their "rival" from the AL or NL 6 times. Like the Brewers with the Twins, A's with the Giants, Cardinals with the Royals etc.

Nice win. One of those blowout wins we needed.

under the circumstances its hard to infer too much into tonights game from st louis' end...but its good to see us hitting the ball and scoring runs, and to see soup go nine.
