Pre-season: Week Two- Colts vs Bears

So its Game 2 of the pre-season, after a disappointing loss to the Cowboys the Colts are back in action against last year's Super Bowl opponent; Da Bears! It will be interesting to see who steps up for the Colts and who will get cut as coach Dungy said this is a key game to evaluate roster cuts. Should be interesting.

Looking forward to this game. I'll be there with a buddy of mine. Should be a fun time, even if it is a pre-season game.

I thought we looked pretty good. Clifton Dawson could unseat DeDe Dorsey perhaps?

I thought the starting defense actually played pretty darned well. We held tackles and didn't blow coverages. Marlin Jackson looked especially well last night in coverage and tackling.

The team seems like they're flying to the ball like never before. It was good to see.

I was quite disappointed in DeDe Dorsey (at least in his rushes), but my buddy and I thought that Kenton Keith was quite an interesting player and produced last night.

I liked Matt Giordano coming out of the draft and thru his play l/y, but I'm loving him right now. W/ Bob's health issues, it's good to know that we have a player of his caliber waiting in the wings to fill in. I like our 3-man rotation at the safety.

Our special teams aren't looking too special right now... We've got to get that fixed. I know we got screwed on the onside kick (Can anybody help me w/ that rule? Does the ball only have to "break the plane" of 10 yards to be legal, b/c if so, it did and we should've had possession?), but our coverage is terrible. They had Danieal Manning making us look bad! I'd rather Hunter just have to truly earn his money and angle his punts out of bounds... and have Vinny just squib it to a TE...

Coach Mudd does it again! It seems as Ugoh is gonna be fine come Week 8 or 9. He's still getting used to the speed of it all, but he has looked exceptional in the running game. In fact, Diem is the one who actually gave up a sack... and some fans wanted him to be our LT? Please.

Overall, just another typical pre-season...
