My Thoughts:

-Addai looked in midseason form. He was cutting, making guys miss, and getting the extra yards that the really good backs do.

-Freddie Keiaho was all over the field. This guy's a player.

-Secondary is tackling well,

-Manning is in a groove with his WR's...Harrison, Wayne, Clark, Gonzo.

-Wayne had an awesome catch in the first

-Manning had a pair of great passes for TD's..one to Clark..the other to Reggie.

I didn't see the game, but from the reports, can't help but be impressed by how well the Colts played on both sides of the ball.

Don't want us to peak too soon, but, on the other hand, damn it would be nice to get off to a good start against New Orleans.

Im expecting a HUGE year for Joseph, I only saw highlights of the game but he looked great. I haven't seen many of the games but do you think our other RBs will get as many carries as Dom did last year?Or will Addai get everything? It'll be interesting to see how Addai will handle being the clear-cut #1 this year, one thing is very true of our runners, they are all VERY young..Last year with Dom we had a guy who has been around the block for a time, and while he wasn't a franchise back by any stretch he was a stable ,reliable guy who would come in when our rookie RB was struggling or needed a breather(how huge was he in the Super Bowl, unsung hero for sure)...Im wondering, do we have that type of guy this year?? Im thinking that Addai will struggle a bit out of the gate when the real season starts, simply because he will IMO get more carries than he's been used to, I trust his talent enough to know he'll be OK and will be one of the top backs in the AFC, he ain't a finnished product by any means, he'll be scary when he reaches his full potential.

I think Addai will carry more than 50% of the load (around where he was last season), I'd say he'll probably get about 75% of the available carries...last year he averaged 14.125 carries per game. I'd expect him to be around 19-24 carries a game. That's just my guess though. I agree, Latrell, he's due for a big year.

DeDe Dorsey has dissappointed a bit after he was being hyped up by the Colts' staff and players. It's hard to judge a player based on a few preseasons game, but he looks tentative, and his yards per carry isn't good. Kenton Keith and Clifton Dawson look adequate, but nothing special. The backup job behind Addai is definately up for grabs.

I actually think Kenton Keith has looked pretty good, and has probably outplayed Dede Dorsey in my mind. Against the Bears, Keith was making plays left and right and looked like he had the ability to break any ne of the plays he had. I didn't see anything of the sort from Dorsey.
