Here is what the Colts are saying:

Colts president Bill Polian confirmed Monday night that Marvin Harrison will not play in Week 16 against the Texans.
"He will not play this following weekend, I can assure you of that," Polian said on his radio show. "His knee has healed, it's a matter of conditioning now, and until we can put him out there for 60 plays a game, he won't play."

Colts coach Tony Dungy said the team would "ideally" have Marvin Harrison (knee) play in a game before the postseason.

I'd throw him a few balls this weekend against the Titans to ease him back into the offense...I don't want him rusty for the playoffs.

Agreed, I'd like to see him at least work 2-3 series with Peyton and Co. Even if he's catching balls on the sides, it's difficult to jump right back into actual game-mode.

Looks like his knee is still balky. I really hope we gradually work him into things, and not let his arrival bog down the offense by forcing him into the scheme of things.

Here's what we know! Marvin is a warrior, and if he were even 85%, he'd be out there, even if it were only 2 or 3 series. He played with a brace on his hand, AS A WR!!!

Marvin is also 35, and is not a big guy like TO. We don't know how he'll heal, mainly b/c he's never been severely injured. And he's more quick than fast at this point in his career, and he uses his quicks for cuts in and out of breaks... which is why he's also the best route-runner in the L. W/ a knee injury, that could severely hamper his cutting ability.

Marvin listens to Tony, and if Dungy tells him, "Hey! I know you wanna play, but let's completely heal this thing, and you can come back like Bob did last year," then it's most likely Marvin has just said OK.

I hope Marvin is OK, b/c we all know he adds a completely different dynamic to the team, especially how defenses cover him and leave the middle open for the most part. We'll see in about a week, when practice begins for our next opponent. I'll be praying for you, Marv!
