But do Manning and Sorgi have different plans?

Plus, the return of a Colts Legend:

I felt our backups played a pretty good game. I expect a lot more from Sorgi, but I will acknowledge that he was playing behind a pretty poor line and unpolished WR's.

What a hit by Darrell Reid!!!!! That was nasty.

That's too bad. If you read his book "Quiet Strength", you'd probably change you mind.

No offense, but if you've lost respect for Coach Dungy over not playing his players, then you're a poor judge of character and respect.

I didn't lose respect for not playing his starters for more than a quarter. I lost respect for not trying to win the game, especially against a division rival. He wasn't even calling timeouts.

What do the Colts gain by winning that game? Pride?. Please, we are the reigning Super Bowl Champions and have been the AFC South Champs for many straight seasons. The only objectives for the Colts were to stay healthy and sharp while also giving their backups some quality PT, it looks like they did that.

Plus, I don't think that game was worth risking injury to anymore of our players, even our backups. We're quite thin as is, and we'd accomplished what we wanted for the regular season. We all know that it's probably gonna be the Pats and the Colts in the end... all a couple of timeouts would've done is expose our guys to injury again, and I think we would've rather had Tennessee go out to SD... w/ their anemic O and injuries, it was more likely that they would lose rather than the Browns. It worked out for us... and we're all we're concerned about right now.
