Bethea Added To Pro-Bowl

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Steelers safety Troy Polamalu will not play in the Pro Bowl, joining running back Willie Parker as the team's second player to miss the NFL's all-star game.
Antoine Bethea of Indianapolis will replace Polamalu at strong safety.

Actually, not anymore...Sanders dropped out because of injury, so John Lynch was named his replacement.

Good stuff! I'm proud that we now have as many defensive players going to Hawaii as offensive, but it's still a bad feeling. It reminds me of all those times that the Eagles would have 13 guys going to the Pro Bowl, only to watch the SB all but once.
Notable achievements, but somewhat empty...
