The Indianapolis Colts and cornerback Kelvin Hayden have agreed to a five-year deal worth approximately $43 million, a source told ESPN's Michael Smith on Wednesday.

The deal includes more than $22 million in guarantees.

"Needless to say, Kelvin is very happy," Fletcher Smith, Hayden's agent, told the Indianapolis Star on Wednesday night. "The [contract] just made a lot of sense for us."

Seems pricey, but Hayden is our best cover man and is starting to become a darn good CB in this league especially in the Cover 2.

Well it seems like the price of good CBs has definately increased this off-season..Yeah 43 mill over 5 years does seem high but its peanuts compared to what the Raiders gave Asomugha.

BTW I watched the Bears/Colts superbowl last night on NFL Replay and Hayden's INT in that game seems more impressive every time i watch it.
