Colts Draft Thread

I think this year's harder to project who we'll take first than in recent years. I've heard Ole Miss DT Peria Jerry, Maryland's WR Darrius Heyward-Bay, OSU's RB Chris "Beanie" Wells, Georgia's RB Knoshown Moreno, and OSU's James Lauranitis, and Mizzou's DT Ziggy Hood among others.

We'll see.

The top needs are:

1. DT
2. WR
3. RB
4. OT
5. LB

RD SEL NAME - School POS
1 27- Donald Brown, UConn, RB
2 56-Fili Moala, USC, DT (trade with Miami)
3 92
4 127
4 136
5 165
6 201
7 236

Not surprised we took a RB, was a little surprised we passed on Beanie Wells, but Donald Brown seems legit and is the all around guy we typically like.

Wow it's sleepy over hear I expected to see some talk! Anyhow I'm happy with our #1 pick I think this kid is gonna make a lot of people sorry they didn't take him, my question now is do we bring back Joseph or do we move him for more draft picks or just let him go. After last season I'm thinking we couldn't get squat for him. I was really hoping we would get old Ed James back! If he'd come cheap we should go get that guy any how!

I wanted one of the USC LB's with our first pick but Donald Brown seems like a good pick too. He's a RB that can do it all, block, catch, has very high IQ and seems to have more athleticism than flatline speed Addai. Im still a believer in Joseph though, I think he will bounce back this year and the addition of Brown will aid that not deter it.
