I haven't frequented too many other team boards on realgm, but I would be surprised if this one didn't have the least activity of them all.

Anyway, hooray for the us. 2nd Super Bowl in 4 seasons, and I actually get to enjoy this one, instead of hearing about it while in Iraq. I can't wait for February 7th!

I am super pumped for the game. Hopefully it won't rain like crazy like it did last time. My neighbors are actually driving to Miami to just tailgate, I can't even imagine how crazy that will be.

As far as the game goes, I think it is going to be a much better game than our last Super Bowl. Our defense will be the key to victory, much like the first 2 playoff games. If we get into a shootout with the Saints I think it reduces our chance of victory. Manning shouldn't have many problems with the Saints D as long as his protection is good. Favre got beat up real good (Which I enjoyed), but I don't see the same fate for Manning. Colts Win 30-24

The thing about our defense against the Saints' is that our secondary is better, which means that if Manning is having an easier time than Brees, then we'll win. But this will be close.

I am sure everyone has heard, but Freeney has a torn ligament in his right ankle. This is a HUGE injury for us. The only bigger injury we could suffer would be Manning IMO. The Colts are holding hope that he will play, but I cannot see how he will be effective at all. They reported on ESPN that this injury normally needs 6-8 weeks to heal, Freeney has two.

This puts much more pressure on Manning & Co. to put up points because without Freeney the Saints will double team Mathis and potentially have an extra receiver they wouldn't have if Freeney was in the game. I still like our chances of winning, but to say I am 100% confident would be a lie.

Freeney not playing would definitely be a huge blow to the defense. Having said that, I still think we have the players capable of filling the gap. Raheem Brock could start for a lot of the teams in the NFL and I assume he's going to see a lot of time this Sunday. Eric Foster will probably see a lot of time also, and as we all have seen he's a damn good young lineman with a lot of upside.

A slightly less effective Dwight is still better then no Dwight..With no Dwight the Saints can slide their protection on Mathis all day long.

The DT's need to step up for this game. Their success will help makeup for Dwight's injury and also mitigate the runblocking of the Saints

Kravitz said today that he has heard from multiple sources that Powers had an operation on his foot. Powers said he is going to play, but who knows. We could really use him out there.

Colts win of course, but the game will be decided in the 4th quarter. The defense makes the plays, forces turnovers, and the Saints will be back to the bag days. Ain't dat nice.

Saints win. Saints' defense absolutely outplayed the Colts defense. That was just pitiful. Manning has every right to demand a trade.

Saints pulled a onside kick out of their ass, just a terrible gameble and it paid off, then Peyon threw and Reggie made about the worst play they've ever made together on that pick 6. Then the 2 point BS conversion that wasn't a completion, wasn't meant to be, Saints were fortunate today.

Congrats to the Saints, they clearly outplayed us. We could not get any pressure on the QB and that was not good with our small DB's matched up with big WR's. We could not make the big play and Reggie Wayne hardly looked like an ALL PRO reciever today.

I still cannot believe a veteran WR was the player choking on that onside. We should have been ready for it.

I think the Colts are the better team and would probably win at least 6 times if they played 10 games. However, the Saints were the better team yesterday. Our defense looked lost and was way too soft in coverage. Offense didn't make the plays late. Saints gambled, and their gambles paid off.
