2016 Free Agency

Post#1 » by UCF » Tue Jan 12, 2016 3:38 am

So if reports are true we should have 40-60 million in cap space. If logic prevails this prediction makes a lot of sense. Blake needs blind side help.

LT Russell Okung:
When healthy, Okung is one of the best left tackles in the NFL. Unfortunately, he has had trouble staying healthy. Blake Bortles is beginning to look like one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL, and getting someone to protect his blindside would be wise.

My number 1 priority for the Jaguars would be Oliver Vernon. He is only 25 years old, and a Florida boy. Miami probably can't afford to keep him, so their loss would be our gain.

According to PFF, he had a single season record of QB hits (by a 43 end) with 27, 3rd most for total pressures (79), and was 6th in QB pressures.

It would be foolish to lean on Fowler for our pass rush this year. Rookie pass rushers usually don't fare well right off the bat and he is coming off an ACL. Sign Vernon and move Fowler around like a chess piece similar to how UF used him.
