Jaguars' rookies complete three-day transition program -- Jacksonville

The Jaguars broke for summer vacation last Thursday, but for the team’s first-year players, their break began today after finishing up a mandatory three-day Rookie Transition Program.
For several years, the NFL would gather every draft pick at a location for the Rookie Symposium. But this year, each team – with certain must-cover topics provided by the league office – conducted their own program. This allowed undrafted free agents to also participate.
The Jaguars’ sessions were organized by director of player development Marcus Pollard.
“We made sure everybody got the same information and it was consistent around the league,” Pollard said afterward. “The league gave us latitude to put our spin on it. I had some former players come in and we did some fun things and kept it energetic. That was the main thing – you have to keep it epic, you have to keep it sharp, you have to keep it focused and engaged.”
