The Jaguars will be holding a press conference for these hires on Thursday at 10:00 AM. I will be curious if they lay out Tom's responsibilities as the VP of Football Ops.

Not bad not bad. Coughlin will bring structure to the team, Marrone and Hackett will be good for Bortles. If you don't take Johnathan Allen, I think you should take Fournette/Cook to take some pressure off of Bortles. Must continue building that O line though.

Big changes coming imo. We are definitely going to be looking for a legit backup at QB. We're going back to old school football with Coughlin having the final say on the roster.
I'm personally hoping we find a way to select Dalvin Cook. He's a big YAC guy and with our o-line we need that.

I saw your post on the Bucs forum, I agree glad Mike Smith was able to stay in Tampa.
I did read that it was done to him and Marrone for the Jags job, but Mike didn't want any part of Bortles. He wanted his own QB via FA/draft. Jags ownership was not ready to move on from Bortles, I don't blame them. I think he can still be an above average QB in the league. The best thing, was getting rid of Greg Olsen.
