It's just inconceivable to me that a 11-5 team from the toughest division in the nfl .....

http://www.nfl.com/standings

there are NO teams under 500
only one team with a minus in the net points and that's only -5
AND two of the top 5 teams in the league

......... should have to go on the road against a 10-6 team just because they won their crappy division

Does the BCS have something to do with this?
Full of sound and fury; signifying nothing

Well, if you're going to have divisions this is how you do it. Get rid of the divisions and any sort of rivalry games if you want it to be determined solely by record. But then how do you have tiebreakers if there are no conferences and divisions?
