I turned the game off after that big inning from the Mets so I missed it.
Estrada and Sveum holding Yost back from Graffy.
Estrada was also being held back from someone in a seperate incident. I don't believe it was Yost.
Estrada was yelling back to someone in the tunnel (I am guessing Villenueva), Sheets, Graffy and others trying to pull him away. Nobody seemed overly upset about it.
sheets was trying to hold someone back.

Wow does Brian know anything about baseball?
"Tough roadtrip last week. The Brewers had 3 walkoff losses and 4 losses in the last at bat."
Hey Brian, 4 losses in the last at bat would mean 4 walkoffs.

Brewers have altercation in dugout
Emotions boiled over in the Brewers dugout today when a New York Mets television broadcast showed an altercation, apparently between manager Ned Yost and catcher Johnny Estrada.
SNY, which broadcasts the Mets' games back to New York, showed players and coaches restraining Estrada and Yost, who were pointing fingers and screaming at each other. Former Mets pitcher Ron Darling, an analyst on the broadcast, said their cameras showed pitcher Ben Sheets and pitching coach Mike Maddux were among those separating Estrada and Yost.
Darling said Yost also called Estrada over a few minutes later and spoke with him in private.
The altercation took place after the Mets scored three runs in the top of the seventh off reliever Carlos Villanueva. Estrada was the catcher and remained in the game, collecting a double in the eighth inning.
The three-run rally gave the Mets a 8-3 lead over the Brewers, who entered the game with nine losses in 13 games. The Brewers began the day a percentage point behind Chicago in the NL Central after holding first place for 102 days.

No sh*t, right?
Yost is such an idiot. He tries to act like the nonchalant leader of this team to the media, and yet he starts a heated argument with Estrada simply because Johnny stretched his single to a double (when the Mets had a five run lead). I guess I can understand why Yost would want to reprimand Estrada for such an action if he had been thrown out, but Johnny made it EASILY. Not to mention that Estrada getting to second did put the Brewers in slightly better position because with only one out in the inning, advancing to second takes away the possible double play on a grounder. I only wish that Estrada would have taken a swing at that incessant, infuriating smirk on Yost's ugly mug.

Hey Brian, 4 losses in the last at bat would mean 4 walkoffs.
Brian rubs me the wrong way a lot too, and it's kind of unfair to him because I can't fully explain it. When Bill's saying "whadinit? iddinit? didnit?" 20 times a game it doesn't really bug me at all, but I find myself yelling "shut, the ****, up, Brian!" and it's kind of embarrassing even sitting at home.

I haven't completely turned on anyone on the team or staff. I understand why people have had enough of Yost and he doesn't really help it acting like he's perfected the World Series formula sometimes.
He's got some leeway with me from that stunt when he felt the need to pop up off the sidewalk near Wrigley with his broken collarbone and keep running like nothing had happened. It was such a dumbass thing with no justifiable reason that doesn't involve laughing at himself, but it was kind of mythical. Oh ****, no one can see the Brewers field manager trip on this busted-ass sidewalk. There's no way I'm breaking a bone on the north side of Chicago. I've got to hide my sling under my jacket and change half the signs.
Do you think he snickers when he sees Willie Randolph displaying his weakness to the world? Then he eats broken glass, and then wonders why his stomach hurts like a bitch. For some reason I enjoy this kind of stuff and it kind of keeps me going when they lose 7 of 10.

What the h*ll are you talking about?
And let me tell you that if I ever noticed Yost acting like he had "perfected the World Series formula", it would only cause me to hate him more. Unfortunately, I've never seen that in him, but then again I thought that him breaking his collarbone jogging made him look like more of a jack*ss instead of making him look courageous, so I guess we see things quite differently.

Think I beat you by a couple seconds, he's not dead to me yet. When he's arrogant it's kind of funny to me and I've got to see how he handles the last couple months of this race before I could really write him off. I wish his "you get it done and get out of the inning or I'll-- I'll-- I'll be really disappointed if you give up 4 runs" pep talk on the mound were more effective.
I bet Jim Skaalen feels like Butch Wynegar right about now; if batters are going to go up and swing out of their shoes half the time, there's only so much of an ass-kicking anyone in the dugout can give them.
