I'd suggest we have a Marlins thread, but I'm gonna be honest with myself. I'm not the biggest baseball fan around. :P

Why not make this a Dolphins/Marlins thread?

This thread just became twice as fun. Nice.

Last night's game was GREAT. Showed real guts coming back. We have two blackholes in our lineup in Buck and Gaby, but everyone else is really starting to hit their stride. The bench was big. We just really need Hanley to remember who he was.

I'm gonna start following baseball again. I played it for 4 year. Even played against A-Rod when he was at Westminster. I know I'm bandwagonning, but I have gone to a ton of Marlins games in the past (really easy to get tix to their games). Let's go Marlins! :D PEACE.

I thought about making a Miami Marlins thread but I didn't know how many fans were here. I like that both are just merged now.

YEAH ABOUT THEM MARLINS!!!

We're 9-1 in our last 10. LAst night's walk off win was great.

We are FINALLY in a good groove, we just have to keep at it and we can atleast win the wildcard.

But damn man, the Nationals are better than I expected. I mean I expected them to be good but not leading in the East already, argh. Just when we get better, another team gets better too. Atleast Philly is struggling so far with injuries.

But if we start winning every series, we're going to be a huge threat. Omar Infante man, he is having a SOLID season.

Gaby was that guy last year man.... I hope he gets going. Yeah Buck is at the end of the line up for a reason lol.

edit : today we sucked but... if we win the series we will be okay.

Nothing like a loss to the Pirates to lessen the buzz of how great we've been lately. Still, the team's been fun to watch. Giancarlo is something else. Our pitching has been so good that if we can just get something from Gaby then a lot of these close losses will swing our way. NL East is going to be wild this year.

Zambrano with another solid start. So far that's been an amazing pickup. I'd have been happy just getting rid of Volstad. Most impressive thing about Zambrano is that he didn't lose his **** early on and stab Bell in the face for blowing all those wins.

Best pitcher and player of the first month (and err a half)? Infante (easy pick). Then Zambrano and Anibal have both been brilliant with little support.

Stanton is not a good contact hitter... he is a power house but he still needs more work.

But I love watching him. I just hope we allow him to grow under us, and not let him get away like we did with Miggy....
