what odds do you give that he will resurrect his career and become an All Pro again, while Trent Green scrambles his eggs and John Beck eats a fart?

I would wish him the best as well. I hate to see decent players lose their careers due to injuries, but at the same point it is the unfortunate nature of the NFL. I never thought he was a great QB to start with, but he was decent. He could've started on a lot of teams prior to the injuries, now he's going to have very few options as to what team to join if he wants any chance to ever start again. He'll most likey have to sign as 3rd QB in rotation and prove himself wherever he decides to go. I'd say the only chances he has to walk in and steal a starting job would be Chicago, Jacksonville, Houston, or Oakland (would be short term until Russell is ready to play). No matter what though I wish him the best of luck.

Seems like he may be on his way to a starting job in Oakland. If he goes on fire and blows up for 3500, 25 I will be pissed.

I don't think you have too much to worry about with him putting up those kind of numbers in a Raiders uniform anytime soon. They have no offense, theres no one to throw the ball to and they don't have much of a running game either. I think those are the real reasons why Russell is holding out, he don't want to have to deal with a team that has no talent and he'll look terrible out there as a rookie. Oakland does have a defense, which could help if they can find a way to put points on the board, but I see another long season for Raiders fans.

Not sure why this is in this thread, but I'll respond anyhow. I like your team outside of the fact that you have no solid RBs. Maybe you can trade a WR and some bench players for a more decent RB.
