it's Beck..... vs the Iggles

Post#1 » by Lane1974 » Wed Nov 14, 2007 3:53 pm

tough place to make one's debut with the rough crowd and Jim Johnson's blitzes
....right into the fire, baby

good luck I am looking forward to seeing SOME HOPE, even if he sucks 99% of the time, the 1% would make me happy

I'm not worried about the blitzes, my gut feeling is that the offensive line is going to bring it harder than hard to protect the rookie from the rush. Go for it Beck.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

The Eagles D is probably licking their chops even more so than before.

Beck is going to shred the Eagles secondary with a surgically precise aerial assault the likes of which Dolfans have not seen since Marino's heyday.

(or, failing that, hopefully at least he shows us more than Cleo.)

Glad to see they're finally come to their senses and will see what he can do. It's clear Lemon isn't the answer.

I was not high on Beck at all pre-draft, but enough people I respect really liked how quickly he got rid of the ball and thru his progressions, qualities that he'll need to display as Trent Cole and Juqua Thomas are bearing down on him.

Eagles are soft. The D just has to find some way to keep Wastebrook from exploding. And assuming Beck doesn't make some big mistakes, we could be in this one.

I hate the Eagles with a passion.

If Beck throws for 300 yards an 2 TD's and get's the Fins their first win, he'll be the co-owner of South Florida alongside Wade...

Right on.

The kid is a rookie and we've been begging for him.

Does anyone have a stream for this game? It's not going to be on local TV here. And I don't see it on sopcast either.

well there is the possibility they blitz Beck into the ground, Lemon comes in and gets nailed and Marty Booker finishes the game as the QB

Beck looks like an NFL QB.

That 22 yard throw he dropped between 5 defenders in a zone and hit Ginn in stride. Nice

good play calling until the last 3rd down imo

obviously hindsight is 20/20, but with a draw or a run you can not only inch closer to a lead on the road with a rookie quarter back, but you can run the clock down the 2nd quarter and not kick into the wind.
