Then Cam Cameron steals a page from Phil Jackson and calls for several balls up the middle to get penetration.

what do you guys think the odds of Cam being fired are?

I think we do need continuity and keep turning over coaches is not good, and it is kind of unfair for him, but if they go 0-16, that is a stink that is hard to erase, and he has made his share of mistakes this season...

It would be unfair considering that he inherited a mess of a roster. Like Gary Stevens once said: " You can't expect to make chicken salad with chicken s**t". 0-16 is ugly and calls for change but that hasn't worked either. I think we try a new approach, get some continuity at the top for another year or two and see if we can bring some talent first before we judge the coach and GM.

I, however, think that Special Teams coach needs to go. There needs to be some sort of change and IMO that's where I would start.

I agree. I've felt our special teams have suffered for awhile, actually. Ever since Wanny fired our old guy and brought in one of his boys (happened with the o-line too, not coincidentally I don't think).

ESPN had a good article on the numbers suggesting the Fins aren't as bad as their record, but have a terrible combination of top-5 hardest schedule in the L + very bad luck. That doesn't mean we're good, just that 0-11 doesn't do us justice.

I think yesterday's game was the 5th or 6th loss by 3 points... a little luck and we could have several wins -- although I still think if you're going to suck, you might as well suck badly enough to get the #1 pick.
We should have 3 or 4 starters from this past draft (Satele, Beck, Ginn) (at least) and hopefully 3-4 starters or rotation players from next years - that is almost 1/3rd of your team with young players... that's how you build to win long term.

Unless Cowher or Parcells wants to coach here, Cam's not going anywhere. This franchise needs some stability, and given he came in with a mess of a roster/team, it's not entirely his fault.

0-16 does suck. And he's made a lot of rookie HC mistakes here and there, but unless a big name becomes available, another coaching change and we're starting a new, again!

Yes, Special Teams needs to be revamped, from the ground up.

With last night's game it makes a franchise record 6 games lost by 3 or less points. A consolation for the bad if you ask me but definitely something we start building on. It all comes down to talent. If we have a few players that can make a difference in the 4th qtr, we steal a few of those games and go from horrendous to just plain bad.

Our best play maker (Ronnie Brown) on offense gets hurt early this season; our Special teams' play maker (T. Ginn) is surrounded by a talentless list of special team players (reflection on the lack of talent again) and non creative coach and our play makers on defense (JT, ZT, Bell etc) all hurt or not producing like years past.

We have things to look forward to at least. Waiting on Ginn to develop is better than waiting for Yatil Green to be healthy or Larry Shannon to be better than Randy Moss; waiting for J. Allen to keep improving or Paul Soliai to produce seems brighter than keeping hope that Eddie Moore or Jamar Fletcher will become something special. I guess time will tell.

It's as simple as this, if Cameron runs that god damned fake end around play one more time followed by a real end around on the same possession, he needs to get his ass canned.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

So a guy walks into a bar in Miami, and he's carrying a cat.

Barkeep says, "sorry buddy, no pets"

Guy says, "he's a real chill cat, just let him sit on the bar, I promise he won't bother anyone; if he does, kick us out"

Barkeep shrugs his shoulders, says, "OK"

Guy sits down, orders a beer, puts the cat on the bar. Cat curls up, starts purring, kinda nods off.

Guy starts watching the TV; Dolphins are on, and have the ball. After a little bit, the 'Fins kick a field goal, and everyone in the bar starts cheering. The cat jumps up, gets on his hindpaws, and starts running down the bar, slapping five to all the customers.

The bartender is slackjawed, just totally amazed. "Wow!"

Guy says, "told you he was a cool cat"

Cat lies back down, goes back to half-sleeping, half-purring.

A few minutes later, Dolphins get the ball back, start driving the field again. Again, they kick a field goal, and everyone in the bar starts applauding. Again, the cat jumps up onto his hindpaws, runs down the bar slapping five to all the customers, to everyone's delight. People are dropping the guy and the barkeep extra tips; everyone is entertained.

The barkeep goes to the guy, says, "the cat really is amazing."

Guy says, "yeah, I know. Told you he was a cool cat." He was definitely one to rub it in.

Barkeep smiles. Says, "so, if he does all that for a Dolphins fieldgoal, what's he do when they score a TD?"

Guy thinks for a second, then answers:

"Don't know, I've only had him for 3 years."

im bad with jokes but here it goes (i heard it from a friend, he probably stole it from some late night show)

There was a child who was being beaten by his parents
After a custody battle in court, the judge orders the son to live with his grandparents
the child pleads for him to reconsider, because he says his grandparents beat him also

the judge asks the child who he would like to live with

he says the dolphins, because they havent beaten anyone

Beck 25/32 - 450 Yards - 6 TDs
Ginn 10 recs - 250 Yards - 4TDs

Dolphins Win 50-21

(that was my Madden score)
