Dolphins tlaking to Lion for S. Rogers

Post#1 » by GameTime_3 » Thu Feb 28, 2008 4:41 pm

Lions are asking for a second round pick. But people close say that everyone including the jets are offering 3 round pick. I for one would trade the late 2 round for this guy. he is only 28 years old and a top 7 DT. He would be perfect for the 3-4.

DE-Chris Long-DT-Shaun Rogers-DE-Vonnie hoilday

LB-Jason taylor-Channing Crowder-A Wright-Joey porter

That is a nice front 7.

That would be a good deal. IMO Dolphins have to take a DT in the 2nd or 3rd round anyways. I don't think Chris Long would play DE in this league on a a 3-4 aligments though. Move him to OLB instead of Porter (A. Wright is an OLB only) and start R. Wright at DE next to Rogers and Holliday.

Shaun Rogers is only 28 and is a behemoth at NT. The protypical 3-4 NT that is 6'3 340 pounds. Oh Yeah

Rodrique Wright-Shaun Rogers-Vonnie Holliday

I would defintely send them a 3rd rounder for Shaun but if they play tough then I wouldnt mind sending over the Chargers pick in the 2nd. Parcells could always trade and get more later picks with the top pick in the 2nd because that is going to have a first round grade and many teams will be enticed to grab there player they want nice and early in the second.

I think Rodrique Wright and Vonnie are Perfect for the 3-4. Moving jason taylor to LB. Honestly if we make this move i can see us taking Matt Ryan.

No to Matt Ryan at #1. I concur with Lane I just tasted a bit of throw up in my mouth at the thought. "You know people in some countries eat there own throw up" I read it......In a Book. (DodgeBall)
