Favre To Miami. No, really.

Favre To Miami?

Well, maybe the media speculation that the guy who brought Favre to Green Bay, former G.M. Ron Wolf, might be whispering to Bill Parcells about trying to get Favre to Miami is more accurate than we initially thought. Because if Favre wants to play another year and if it's not with the Packers, then maybe it will be elsewhere.

yes, because most legends who have been with one team for 17 years who have that same team 1 game away from the Super Bowl can't WAIT to end their career on a 1-15 team.

I would lose respect for THEM if they went after him and respect for HIM if he didn't hang up on them

Signing him would be a HUGE mistake, and just plain dumb. Instead of building this team for the long haul/future, we'd start trying to just make the playoffs, by signing WRs left and right etc.

I hope that he stays retired, as I admire the players that stick to one team such as Dan Marino, versus those players that play their career with one team, and then go finish off on another team in a bad spot.

That said, if he did want to come back, it would have to be with a team that is one QB away from winning a super bowl. One team that comes to mind is the Bears, but no way he would go there given the same division as the Packers. Tampa would be interested as they seem to go after every QB who is available. So.....He will stay retired.

Well he surely isn't going back to GB now :)

BTW, Favre's career started in Atlanta.
